100%
Natural Snow
Thanks to the Okanagan valley's unique microclimate, Silver Star
receives over 23 feet annually of dry, featherlight, champagne
powder snow. You’ll just feel the difference in the softness of
the powder and the smoothness of the groomed corduroy.

enough to keep the snow light and fluffy, yet perfect for skiing,

Variety
of Terrain
Don’t be fooled by our good looks. There are over 2,725 acres
of uncrowned terrain over two very different mountain faces - the
Vance Creek and Putnam Creek. Serviced by the Comet Pack Express,
Canada
’s largest six person chairlift, the
Vance
Creek
offers some of the most immaculately groomed cruising runs anywhere.
Wide-open spaces, uncrowded slopes and great views characterize many
of the runs.
Silver Star definitely has a dark side. Putnam Creek is thrilling.
With over 60 runs serviced by the high-speed Powder Gulch Quad,
Putnam Creek is renowned for deep powder snow, wicked diversity and
vast terrain. Many of the black diamond runs are winch
groomed nightly creating steep falline cruising. |
