Time Flies
Doesn’t seem like much bloggin’ has been going on recently so I felt somewhat obliged ……… February 24! Where has the time gone? It seems like only a week or two ago and we were celebrating 2010! That’s what happens I guess. It’s been a great season and the best is yet to come! It’s dumping snow right now, we have an awesome line-up of events coming up between now and April 4, so be sure to check in on the events calendar. The radar is scattered with sunny and snowy days and I’ve got my fingers crossed for the great spring skiing we all know and love.
From an events side of things, the Silver Star Games has been a huge success. Thanks to all the families that have come out to participate; they aren’t done yet though. We still have three days of games left, not to mention Silver Star’s first ever Cardboard Sled Derby on February 27!
Just so I could sound like I knew what I was talking about I grabbed a beat up old box the other day and tested it’s “slide-ability” on the cat track by my house. I’ll say this much; it’s faster than it looks. I hope everyone is busy creating their cardboard masterpiece, as it’s sure to be a fun time.
