Support our Canadian athletes on Upper Big Dipper as they race their way to victory. 60 competitors will race in SG & GS for their chance on the podium! This race event will allow the athletes to qualify for the Special Olympics next year.

| Mar 13 - Mar 13 | RBC Riders Slopestyle
This is the final RBC Riders event at Silver Star for the season. We're back at the Far Out Terrain Park for another youth only snowboard slopestyle comp. Register at the tent in the Village between 9 and 10am, it's only $20 but don't forget parents or guardians have to sign the waiver.
Once your signed up head to the mini park for a few practice laps. Judged runs take place after lunch. |

This is North America's longest Cross Country Ski Challenge! Join your friends, family and/or colleagues to ski the 75 kms or take on 30 kms as a soloist. The 7.5 km loop allows for teams of 2, 5 or 10 skiers. The loop winds its way through the forest providing beautiful mountain vistas. It will be a great day for everyone and best of all – have fun!

Throw on your snowshoes and follow our marked course to receive your playing cards. Collect all 4 at the various check points and bring them into the Saloon by 12pm to get your fifth and final card of the poker hand. Enjoy appys and drinks while you wait to show your cards. Fun for the entire family and great exercise. Lots of prizes!
(snowshoes available if necessary). Register at Tube Town between 9 and 10am; Race begins at 10am at the tent at the bottom of the Silver Queen ski run. |

This year is the 5th annual Showdown Throwdown Hoedown, and it’s going to be one amazing time for Competitors and Spectators alike! The two day competition draws top competitors from around Canada and the US in both the Open and the Amature categories. Huge prizes up for grabs as well as Cold Hard Cash! Silver Star will be rocking till the very end of the season hosting the top freestyle skiers from across BC at the BC Freestyle Championships. These tops skiers will be competing in Moguls, Big Air, and Slopestyle all weekend! Check back for more details. |

 Also known as "Tight & Bright Day!". It's time to bust out the bright colours, zinc, tight pants, mono boards everybody! One of the most fun days on the mountain, you do not want to be left out of the fun skiing and partying afterwards.
Don't forget to meet at the top of the Comet Express Six-Pack at 1:15 p.m. for a group photo and hero-run down Milky Way. Join everyone in the Village at 3:30 p.m. for the Infamous Dance-Off! |

The competition will begin at 3:00pm sharp near Snowbird Lodge; entries will be judged for best dressed, biggest air, and best crash and burn.
