Q: Where are the closest washrooms?
A: The closest public washroom facilities in the village are located below the Town Hall. There are also washrooms located at most hotels, restaurants and at Tube Town Adventure Park.^ Top |

Q: Where is Administration?
A: Administration can be found above Ski Dazzle Rental Shop. The office hours are daily, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.^ Top |

A: Reception at the Administration Building would be happy to exchange your currency for you.^ Top |

Q: Where can I buy lift tickets aside from the village ticket office?
A: Half Day, Full day or Multi-Day lift tickets may be purchased from the Comet Ticket Office or Tube Town. Half Day or Full Day lift tickets only are available at the Guest Services Information Desk (located in the red Ski School building on the Main Street Boardwalk).

Q: What's there to do in the summer at Silver Star?
A: Silver Star Mountain Resort has a long history of being a place to play under the summer sun. For example, you can ride the Summit chairlift and mountain bike on the variety of trails around the mountain. Visit our Summer Activities section for full information.^ Top |

Q: Is there public Internet access?
A: You can check your webmail, the stock reports, the forecast, and anything else from the public Internet stations at Pooh’s and Bean’s Sweet Shoppe and the lobby of Putnam Station Hotel. Both are easy to find in the Village.^ Top |

Q: Are locker rentals available on a weekly basis?
A: Unfortunately, there are no weekly locker rentals, but in the public lunch room in the lower Town Hall building, there are lockers for day use, and we also have seasonal lockers available from the Season Pass office.^ Top |

Q: The airline lost my luggage… Do you have any ski wear for rent?
A: For sure! Ski jackets and ski pants are available for rent at Ski Dazzle Retail Shop. There are sizes for kids right up to adults. ^ Top |

Q: What if I lose my season pass?
A: Try your best to avoid losing your season pass! But if you do, report it immediately to our ticket sales staff. We will replace your lost or stolen pass for a $25.00 administration fee.
If you forget your season pass, a single day replacement ticket will be issued once per season, per passholder. ^ Top |

Q: Why can’t I use my VISA card in the ATM machines?
A: The ATM machines at Silver Star Mountain Resort accept MasterCard, American Express and the following Debit Cards: Maestro, Cirrus and Interac. Only Charter Bank money machines will accept Visa and unfortunately charter banks will not service money machines up at the Resort. Visa is, however, accepted at all ticket, rental, food, beverage and retail outlets throughout the village.

Q: Why isn’t there any public transport to Vernon during the week or $5 Fridays?
A: Public transport in our region is operated by BC Transit. Although the shuttle bus does run on Saturdays and Sundays and holidays to and from Salmon Arm to Silver Star, with daytrips to Vernon, BC Transit has chosen not to run the shuttle service throughout the week because there is currently not enough ridership demand.^ Top |
