Silver Star Mountain Resort plays host to numerous Nordic events throughout the season, celebrating the world’s oldest winter sport.
Early in November, 105 km of trails at Silver Star Mountain Resort come alive with Nordic enthusiasts from across North America. With consistent early snow, meticulous grooming, excellent facilities, and ski-in ski-out accommodation, it is no wonder the Canadian and USA National Cross Country and Biathlon Teams have selected Silver Star as their early season training centre.

15 km of fun and excitement, the Loppet is named in honour of our friends on holiday from the south. The course starts at Tube Town and follows our beautiful lower trail network finishing back at Tube Town so everyone with a pair of XC Skis can participate.
