Looking for a deal on downhill, snowboarding or cross country ski equipment? Mark the Swap on your calendar!
The Swap will be held at the Vernon Recreation Centre on Saturday, October 18, 2008 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Consignments will be taken in on Friday, October 17 between 3:30 to 7 p.m.

Programs available for all levels of skiers, from Masters to Juniors. Come join us for a few days at the best early snow site in the world and we’ll help you launch your ski season on the right track. Check back for more info. |
| Nov 30 | Silver Star "Do it for Fun Loppet"
Formely known as the "Turkey Trot Loppet", this 15 or 7.5 Km Loppet is full of fun and excitement. The course starts at Tube Town and follows our beautiful lower trail network finishing back at Tube Town so everyone with a pair of XC Skis can participate. Register at Tube Town, monring of the race at 9am, race starts at 10am.

Join this group of joyful singers at 7:00pm as they wind their way around the Village. Warm up by our new outside bonfire pit with hot chocolate and fill the air with the beautiful sounds of Christmas. Follow them to the NATC Auditorium and bask in the warmth of the Christmas Spirit as they share more of their festive music at 8:00pm. |

We'll supply the makings, you supply the talent!! Come out to the Town Hall Eatery at 6:30pm with your whole family and get creative in this festive event. | Dec 24 | Santa’s Gift Giving & Christmas Photo, & Christmas Eve Service
Santa will be swinging by Silver Star on his travels to give out presents to all the good boys and girls (up to 12 years old). After the fireworks and torch light parade, around 5pm, you’ll find Santa in the village where he’ll lead you to the NATC to enjoy hot chocolate & cookies and to receive your present. It’s only $10.00 to join in the festivities & receive a gift from Santa. You can also have your photo taken on Santa’s knee for an extra $5.

Once again this year some of the best 13-14 year old racers from across Canada will converge on Silver Star's race courses to compete in the K2 National's. Come check out the best from each province compete on Gypsy Queen which will be a great race course for them. The racers will be competing in Super Giant Slalom, Super Combi, Giant Slalom, and Slalom. |
