All children's ability levels are based on a natural progression of skill development. Children are grouped according to skill level and the ability to ski or board on designated terrain, demonstrating good control through turn shape. Parents and children should be aware that factors such as weather, snow conditions, equipment, clothing, mental & physical well being, and the desire to participate will all play a role in determining ability level and subsequent performance. At the Star Kids Centre, we have five ability levels for the Ski Cubs and six levels for the Snowriders who are skiing or boarding.
