What's New at Silver Star for 2009/10

Silver Star is busy with various projects to improve the resort for the 2009/10 season:
• continuation of extensive summer grooming program
• new two acre beginner's terrain park on the lower portion of Far Out
• new snow-cross course located on the upper portion of Milky Way
• boxes and rails will be added near the village to allow skiers and boarders to practice their skills after the lifts close
• Firelight Lodge, the mountain's newest luxury accommodation opens in front of Brewer's Pond and Tube Town Adventure Park with 65 condo units available for rental or purchase
• HB Pizza opens in the Lord Aberdeen across from the Bulldog Hotel
• a wine bar, Bella's, will open in the lower section of the Bulldog Hotel
• Wild Horseman's Cabin will undergo renovations and a 1000 sq ft expansion
• Silver Star Snowmobile Tours will be re-introduced, departing from Parking Lot E
