Mountain Bike Ratings
We rate our summer trails using familiar symbols.

Trail Description
Beginner Trails Beginner trails are the easiest mountain bike trails at the resort and some are also multi-use trails, meaning that you may encounter people walking or running. The trail surface varies from wide paved paths to wide gravel paths, and wide grassy double or single track.
Intermediate Trails These trails vary from 6 feet wide, smooth as butter and bermed to mellow single track running through the forest. These trails will not be steep but could have the occasional feature either dirt or wood. They will offer a challenge to the beginner but they will be fun for anyone; a great warm up for the advanced rider.
Advanced Trails Generally steeper than your intermediate trails. Advanced trails will have both wood and dirt features such as jumps, drops, step ups, step downs, teeter totters, sky bridges and anything else our trail crew can construct in the forest; look for big wooden berms and walls. These trails are intermediate friendly as there will be an easy way around for every feature. BE AWARE OF FAST RIDERS.
Expert Trails These trails could have just about anything as far as features go, both wooden and dirt. What makes them a cut above the rest is steep, gnarly, natural terrain such as rock faces, and exposed roots.

Mountain Bike Trails

Trail Description
The Vault This progressive skills area and jump park is loads of fun. We are listening to our riders and there will be ongoing improvements throughout 2008. All dirt features are re-worked and there is alot more wood coming your way. Every rider can improve their skills; Rockstar or Challenger will get you there.
Cross Mountain Trail One of our best! Enjoy a peaceful ride through the wilderness on a beautiful paved trail without getting your bike dirty!
Cabin Trail A nice easy cross country loop from the village and back. Take the Cross Mountain paved trail to the Cabin Trail head or from Paradise on the way down. Expect hikers both ways.
Knoll Loop A scenic paved path that winds through the beautiful Victorian vacation homes on the Knoll.
Paradise A very cruisey and scenic wide shale trail, that takes you all the way to the village. This summer, you can also follow the trail right down to the bottom of the Comet Express via Easy Street. Expect hikers both ways.
Easy Street - Lower Paradise A continuation of Paradise from the village to the bottom of the Comet Express, where you can be whisked back to the top in 7.5 minutes. Expect hikers both ways.

Challenger This is a challenging green trail with braids of blue throughout. Test your skills and try out the blue sections where you'll find small jumps, rollers, low log rides and beginner berms, or stay on the green and cruise back down to the Comet Express.
Comet Trail A fast old school fire road taking you from the village to the bottom of the Comet Express.
LTG (formerly Pooh's Corners) Follow Paradise down to the World Cup / Paradise / LTG junction and look for the signs on the left. This intermediate trail is super twisty old school single track through the forest. Please be aware of low to the ground wooden features that will appear this summer. There is an easy route around all the features on LTG.
Super Star This machine made “berm fest” will make you want to run out and buy a brand new full suspension mountain bike. This is definitely one of our feature trails, smooth top to bottom, loaded with berms and rolls for the intermediate rider, a perfect warm up for anyone.
Shazam Do you like Super Star? This is the next level of machine made blues, and if you don't say "shazam" at the bottom, you're not riding fast enough! The top half was completed in 2007 and the bottom course is set to be complete in 2008
Blast Off This trail starts in the village and will get your juices flowing. The same format and style as Super Star, it will take you to the bottom of the Comet Chair like a luge ride. Awesome!
World Cup We took this old double track down hill trail and gave it a brand new flavour. Fast as you want to go, loaded with jumps, berms and well renowned wall rides. Take the lower half from the village to get you to the bottom and see why your bike is in the air more than it is on the ground.
Double Dog Home of the Red Bull Trailcrew Event, this trail is our feature and stunt trail, loaded with wooden man-made features like jumps, teeter-totters, sky bridges and roller coasters.
Rock Star This is basically a brand new trail that rips from the top all the way down. It is fast, furious and loaded with table top style jumps and berms. Our version of a 1600 vertical downhill BMX Track.
Pipe Dream This is the perfect high-end rider's dream! Imagine the flow and berms of Blast Off combined with the airtime of Rock Star and you have Pipe Dream. Check out Part 2 for 2007!
Flow Super fast, super flowy, just like the name. All cut by hand this trail is like a roller coaster ride through the forest, no need to stop until you hit the bottom.
Dag's Downhill Built just like the crazy Viking who it was named after, you will experience natural and man-made features both dirt and wood, rock drops and steeps. Tie this one into World Cup for a haywire 1600 foot drop to the bottom of the Comet Express.
Downtown All natural, all the sugar and twice the caffeine, steep rock faces and twisty forest single track. Watch for signage at Pinnacles Road, directing you to the village or back to the bottom of the Comet Express.
