Where The World Comes To Ski
There's a reason why Silver Star was voted the number one Nordic destination in North America by Forbes Magazine. Silver Star not only boasts more than 60 kilometres of groomed trails, our trails are blanketed with some of the best snow anywhere in the world. In addition, Silver Star is known for its early snow, so your season starts that much sooner. Combine that with average daily temperatures -5 C (23 F) and 45 perfectly groomed mountain trails and the result is a truly incredible Nordic experience. Whether you are new to the sport or an elite athlete, there is literally something for everyone.
That's why we are playing host to some of the best Nordic ski teams in the world. Both the Norwegian Nordic and Biathlon National Teams will train at Silver Star prior to the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games. But that's not all, The Russian, Finnish and Greece's National Cross Country Teams are also making their way to Silver Star starting in December 2008.

Who Said Camp Is Just For Kids
Our Cross Country Ski Camps are the perfect way to improve your skill and endurance. Silver Star Nordic manager Glenn Bond is the new director of the camps and has added some great new coaches for this year.
