Safety is always been a priority at Silver Star. The only way to get full value from your season pass or day lift ticket is to make sure you make it to the end of the day.

Now we're going to put our prizes where our mouths are. This winter, we want to make sure every kid on the mountain has a fun, and just as important, SAFE, day on the slopes.

This winter, kids 14 and under can stop one of our ski patrollers, recite the 10 rules of the Alpine Responsibility Code and win great prizes. Everyone who enters will go into a weekly draw for prizes. At the end of the season, we will pull one name for our grand prize.

Don't worry kids, we know you have enough on your plate with homework, text messaging, Xbox, walking the dog, feeding the cat, shoveling the driveway ...

So you can download your ALPINE RESPONSIBILITY CODE here, put it in your jacket and pull it out and read it to ski patrol. Who knows, after stopping them 50 times over the course of the winter, you may even memorize it.
