During the winter, exhibit cases are located in the lobby of the Chilcoot Lodge.

During the summer, the Museum is located on Main Street in the Village. Check out additional displays in the lobbies of Pinnacles Suite Hotel and Chilcoot Lodge Lobby.

The SilverStar Mountain Museum is a partnership between SilverStar Mountain Resort, Vernon and District Museum, and the SilverStar Dreamweavers Society.

Summer Hours of Operation: 11:00am to 3:00pm daily until September 4

Like us on Facebook and stay current on weekly activities and events.

A satellite of the Vernon District Museum, the SilverStar Mountain Museum intends to preserve artifacts and stories from the past about the people and events on the mountain.

The history of human activity on the mountain goes back several hundred years and includes First Nations use, mining and forestry activities, as well as the recreational use of recent years.

Our goal is to establish a permanent Museum location within SilverStar Village. We are seeking contributions toward our building fund and exhibit development and maintenance. Donations can be made to the Vernon Museum: on the website, or by calling 250-542-3142.

Help us build future exhibits by donating photos, stories or artifacts from your past experiences on SilverStar. Contact Vernon Museum with your contribution.
