ALPINE SKIING

Level 1

Never Ever - You have never ever skied before.

Level 2

Beginner - You have skied once or twice before and want to improve your turning skills starting in the "Zone".

Level 3 

Novice - You have become more comfortable making turns on Green runs and want to aquire skills to ski steeper Green terrain.

Level 4

Intermediate - You can control turns on Blue terrain and want to acquire skills to ski more confidently on steeper Blue terrain.

Level 5

Advanced - You are comfortable skiing groomed Black Diamond terrain however want to work on better performance and control.

 

 

SNOWBOARDING

Level 1

Never Ever – You have never ridden before or still learning heelside edge control

Level 2

Beginner - You can slide downhill on your toe or heel edge and are learning to control snowboard direction going left and right.

Level 3V

Novice - You are confident in controlling both speed and direction on both confidently slide left and right on both edges while working towards completing heel and toe turns on green terrain.

Level 4

Intermediate - Learning to link turns with confidence on intermediate terrain

Level 5

Advanced - Riding Blue to Black terrain, seeking progression on short turns, carving, off-piste, powder and freestyle.

 

 

CROSS COUNTRY SKIING

Level 1 

Never Ever - Beginner -You have never skied before

Level 2  

Novice - You have skied more than 3 times on green trails only. You have very little glid, rhythm and balance.

Level 3  

Intermediate - Youn have skied more than 1 season on blue trails with moderate climbs and descents. Glide, rhythm and balance is inconsistant depending on terrain

Level 4    Advanced - You have skied at least 1 season and can ski most black trails including all climbs and descents. You can ski with Glide, rhythm and balance on all terrain and conditions
