Hiking and Trail Running

Hiking and Trail Running

SilverStar's 16 kilometres of forest and mountain trails offer panoramic views of the beautiful Okanagan Valley and Monashee Mountains, with plenty of opportunities to spot wildlife and wildflowers along the way.

Hiking/Trail Running Day Tickets

IMPORTANT!!! To help ensure your safety, all hikers and trail runners are asked to pick up a complimentary hiking trail day ticket at the Ticket Office before heading out on the mountain.

Hiking Season Pass

If you are a regular hiker or trail runner at SilverStar and do not want to come to the village to collect a ticket each time you're on the mountain, you have the option of purchasing a hiking season pass for a processing fee of $25. The season pass is for your convenience while the day ticket is free. Please be aware neither the day ticket or season pass allows access to the chairlift.

Summit Scenic Chair Rides

Hikers may also choose to purchase a Summit Scenic Chair  & Hiking Lift Ticket and ride the Summit Scenic Chair to the top of the mountain and back down again. Casual hiking on our multi-use trails can be accessed from the top of the chairlift. For Summit Scenic Chair hours of operation, please CLICK HERE

NOTE: Hikers visiting Monday to Thursday and looking to take the chairlift to the top of the mountain will need to purchase a Summit Scenic Chair & Hiking Lift Ticket and take the Comet Express. To access the Comet you must hike down to the start of the lift which takes approximately 20 minutes and is a fairly gentle hike. Once at the top of the mountain, you must hike down on the four great hiking trails to the village. Return rides are not available on the Comet Express.
