2019/20 Season Pass & POW Passholder COVID-19 Voucher Information

As a thank you to our loyal passholders, and in response to the impact COVID-19 has had on the 2019/20 season, SilverStar Mountain Resort is issuing 2019/20 alpine season passholders, and POW passholders with unused days, a voucher for use toward any 2020/21 season or POW pass product. The voucher value is based on the type of product purchased for the 2019/20 season and will be good through the 2020/21 season so that you can apply it when you are ready.

2019/20 Alpine Season Passholders: We sent you an email between May 12th - 19th with your voucher  - please check your inbox. Vouchers are active from May 19th.   Please check all email folders – sometimes important emails hide in plain sight (like your spam folder). The email will come from [email protected] and will be titled “SilverStar Credit Voucher” and look like the following:

POW Passholders: We will be contacting you via email early June with your voucher information.

As a thank you for helping us celebrate the amazing season we were having, and in response to the impact COVID-19 has had, we have developed what we believe is a thoughtful way to appropriately thank our passholders and loyal guests for choosing SilverStar Mountain Restort. The voucher value is based on the type of product purchased for the 2019/20 season.

POW Passholders - your vouchers will correlate to how many unused days were remaining on your pass at time of closure and will be detailed in your email. 

You can apply your voucher for use toward any 2020/21 season or POW pass product. 

Vouchers are not valid towards 2020 summer passes and cannot be applied to passes with an administration only fee (tot passes or 5th family member passes). Vouchers are not cash refundable and must be used in full - if you choose to purchase a product less than your voucher, the remaining will be forfeit.

Thank you for your purchase. 2020/21 season passes (unused) will be fully refundable until December 1st.

If you were also a 2019/20 passholder - yes, you qualify for an additional refund off the purchase price. The refund on your 2020/21 season pass is based on the type of season pass product you purchased in the 2019/20 season. We will be in touch with you over the summer months to process the refund.

The vouchers are being extended as a token of our appreciation to you and an acknowledgement of the impact COVID-19 had on the 2019/20 season. Therefore, the value of the voucher is based on the product you had for the 2019/20 season and can be applied to any season or POW pass 2020/21 product.

Vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. If you are eligible for another discount (such as CADS), the voucher cannot be applied on top of this discount.

Yes, 2019/20 season passholders who purchase a 2020/21 product before September 27th, 2020 qualify for the early bird price freeze to apply both the renewal promotion AND the voucher value to secure great value price for the season and the best perks.

We understand there is a lot of uncertainty and are making the voucher available through the 2020/21 season. We will issue a full refund before December 1, 2020 for any passholder that has not used their 2020/21 pass and desires a refund for any reason.

The 2019/20 pass vouchers are valid for the 2020/21 winter season only. They have no cash value, are non-refundable, and non-transferable.

You will get 100% of your money back, excluding vouchers, discounts or credits, if your pass is unused and you submit a cancellation request on or before December 1, 2020.

 

How do I file for a cancellation?

If your pass product is unused, you may be eligible for a refund. Simply email [email protected] on or before December 1, 2020 or mail a cancellation request to the following mailing address (and postmarked on or before December 1, 2020), PO box 3002 SilverStar Mountain, BC, V1B 3M1, stating that you would like to cancel your pass product purchase. Please include each passholder’s name along with their pass numbers or order confirmation number. Funds associated with any refund will be credited to the originating payment method. We will contact you to process the request.  

 

If I used a voucher to purchase my pass, will I get the value of the voucher refunded?

The refund includes any amount you paid at the time of purchase of your 2020/21 pass product and excludes any vouchers, discounts or credits applied at time of purchase.

 

How does the refund work with a payment plan?

If you submit a written request to cancel your pass on or before December 1, 2020, we will refund all funds you paid up until the date of the cancellation request, excluding any vouchers, discounts or credits used during the original purchase. Your pass will then be cancelled and will not be valid for the 2020/21 winter season.

 

Can I get a refund before December 1, 2020 if I have used my pass?

Refunds are only available for passes that have not been used during the 2020/21 winter season.

Once you receive the refund for your pass, your pass will be inactivated and cannot be used for the 2020/21 winter season, however if you decide later to ski or ride at SilverStar Mountain Resort in the 2020/21 winter season, you may certainly purchase any of our pass or ticketed products at the price offered on the date you intend to repurchase.
