SilverStar's Winter Athletes & Ambassadors

We are pleased to support and introduce you to our 2019/20 Athletes & Ambassadors:

Elena is currently on the Canadian National Team and competing in Slopestyle and Big Air events around the world. Elena started skiing at the age of 4 at SilverStar in the Snowsports program and later the SilverStar Freestyle Ski Club. She competes on the World Cup Circuit and in other events like Dew Tour and X-Games. She won her first world cup in Big Air last year in New Zealand and is excited to continue competing.

Patrick is a Canadian Freestyle Nextgen team athlete competing at international and World Cup competitions. Named to the 2017 NextGen Park & Pipe National Team in May, Patrick is definitely a competitor worth watching closely this season. Competing on the World Cup circuit again this year, this slopestylist already has impressive Canadian and World standings.

Noah has three X Games appearances, 8th at XG 2015 in Big Air, and 8th in Tignes in 2013 in Slopestyle. He finished 3rd on the AFP Big Air year end rankings 2015 and is a current member of the Canadian National Team.

Since 2010, Hill has been a leader on the snowboardcross team, having gained respect with an impressive out-of-nowhere run that came up just short of qualifying for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. Hill turned heads with a second place finish at the 2011 Winter X-Games. In 2015 Hill took home Gold at the Winter X-Games, and followed up with a 2nd place at the FIS Snowboard World Championships

Jr Freestyle Ski Mason Land

He has been with the Freestyle Club since 2011. In 2019 Mason was selected as an alternate to attend Junior Nationals in Calgary where he finished 11th in Slope.  This year Mason is honoured to be coached by Noah Morrison, Patrick Dew and Hayden Person. In 2020 Mason will compete at a Canada Cup event.

Freestyle Snowboard Oskar Klein

Oskar is a junior snowboarder aspiring to be the next Canadian olympic gold medalist. His goal for this season is to make it on to the Next GEN team, and make finals for nationals.

Para-Olympic Gold and Silver Medalist, Josh is a role model for many. His passion, drive, and enthusiasm for snow sports in Canada are a true inspiration.SilverStar has been home to Josh from the start of his Paralympic career and are proud to have him representing and inspiring the next generation of SilverStar shredders.
