Reserve your parking before visiting SilverStar Mountain Resort and come up knowing you will have a spot to park and plenty of space to enjoy the mountain.

If for whatever reason the above booking system is not working, please click here to directly to book your reservation. For ease of use, we recommend using the above system to book your days, and downloading the ParkWhiz app to view, present and/or cancel your bookings. 

PLEASE NOTE: Alpine lift ticket quantities are also limited and, to reduce crowds and enable appropriate physical distancing, there will be dates no single day lift tickets are available. No Show Parking Reservation Policy Cancel for Karma

If your plans change, we understand. Just cancel your reservation by 7:30AM the day of, no questions asked, and book a different day. We could all use a little good karma.

We all want to ski and ride, so if you are a no show, we will be in touch.

  1. First No Show: You will receive a courtesy reminder email
  2. Second No Show: You will lose your next booked reservation
  3. Third & Subsequent No Shows: You will lose all future booked reservations

Looking ahead How many days can I reserve?

Our goal is to allow guests to ski and ride on the days they wish. All guests can reserve a total of 12 days at any given time, which they can do by reserving parking for up to 5 “Advance Days” and 7 “Week-Of Days.” You are allowed one reservation per licensed driver, per vehicle, for each day. It's important to remember that only one reservation per car per day is needed. If you don't initially get the days you want, we encourage you to keep checking back - cancellations and seasonal changes in our parking volume may change. 

Advanced Days & Week-Of Reservations

5 “Advance Days” let you plan for important days, like a family vacation, throughout the entire season. 7 “Week-Of Days” let you have spontaneous days of skiing and riding during the next rolling, 7-days starting that day. This means you can have up to 12 Total Rolling Days of parking reservations booked at any given time.  Rolling means that once a day is used, you can book another day and, as your Advanced Day becomes week-of, you can book another Advanced Day.

Additional inventory will open periodically, so check back often. You are allowed one reservation per licensed driver, per vehicle, for each day. It's important to remember that only one reservation per car per day is needed. To ensure equal access to the resort, we ask that guests only book parking reservations for the days they plan to visit. No shows or abuse of the system in any way could result in loss of day’s booked or future privilege to book advance dates.

Parking FAQ's

Parking reservations are required pre-arrival and can be made online (coming soon).  When you book a reservation, you will be sent QR code electronically. That QR code most be presented at the entrance and scanned before entering our lots. The QR code can be presented on your phone or can be printed at home in advance. Upon arrival at the resort, guests should have their QR code ready for scanning to ensure quick access to the lot and the skiing and riding.

Guests may reserve a total of 12 days at any given time and more days on a rolling basis and as advance days become week of days. Our goal is to allow guests to ski and ride on the days they wish, and each guest can reserve up to 5 “Advance Days” and 7 “Week-Of Days” at a time. As advance days become week-of, guests can book additional advance days not exceeding a total of 5 advance day reservations at any given time.

Guests must arrive within the scan window, between 7:30 and 11:00 AM or cancel before the scan window begins to avoid a no show penalty. After that time the parking is first come, first serve. There will be a status of parking availability in real time available on the website.  No shows or abuse of the system could result in loss of days booked or future privilege to book advance dates.

If your plans have changed, we understand. Please cancel your reservation as soon as you know your plans have changed. To ensure everyone has access to ski and ride this season, guests must cancel their parking reservations by 7:30 the same day if plans change and you are unable to visit. What are the cancellation requirements?

We ask for a 24-hour advance notice but understand this may not always be possible. If your plans have changed, we understand. Please cancel your reservation as soon as you know your plans have changed. To ensure everyone has access to ski and ride this season, guests must cancel their parking reservations before 7:30AM, which is when the arrival window begins on the reserved date. 

The best way to manage, book and cancel parking reservations is through the ParkWhiz app. If you aren’t feeling well or need to adjust plans for any reason, you can cancel up until the day your arrival window begins. If you do not cancel by the time your arrival window begins on your reserved date and you are a no-show, or if you abuse the system, it could result in loss of days booked and/or future booking privileges. If you cant make it that morning or feel your pass wasnt scanned please email [email protected] with your details. Please note that to avoid penalty guests must contact us the same day as the reservation before the resort closes. 

 What is the penalty if I don’t cancel?

If you do not cancel beforey the time your arrival window begins on your reserved date and you are a no-show, or if you abuse the system, it could will result in loss of future days booked and/or future booking privileges.

 How to Cancel using the Park Whiz App (You can also cancel through your confirmation email on the page with the QR code.)

  1. Download the ParkWhiz app
  2. If you already have an account and used it to reserve your parking, login using that email address
  3. If you do not have an account, sign up using the email address you used to make your parking reservations
  4. Tap on “My Parking” on the navigation at the bottom of the screen to view all of your upcoming reservations
  5. Scroll to locate the reservation you want to cancel
  6. Tap the “Cancel” icon and subsequent cancelation confirmation prompt
  7. Confirm reservation is canceled by viewing the pop-up notification, receiving your cancelation confirmation email, and/or checking your upcoming reservation list

 

Yes! So long as there is availability, booking can be made same day. We ask you to please reserve in advance of arrival to ensure a smooth experience upon entering the resort. Real time availability can be found on our website once the season starts. 

Our goal has always been, and will continue to be, to provide our guests with a great and safe SilverStar experience. Implementing the parking reservation system will help us ensure the wellbeing of all through the careful management of the number of people at the resort at any given time. By managing the number of people on property, SilverStar guests can know that when they plan a trip to visit us, they are going to have a great experience – they will know they will have a spot to park when they get here and plenty of room to spread out on the mountain.

For example, if the current date is December 10, you can have any day between December 11-17 reserved (rolling 7-day window) in addition to up to five days between December 18 and the end of the season (advance reservations). If you had December 18 reserved as an advance reservation, you become eligible to book an additional day between December 19 and the end of the season on December 11 since the December 18 reservation now falls within the rolling 7-day window.

No - Until 11am all arrivals will need a parking reservation.

Yes - after 11am you can show up "first come, first served" 

The reservation is only available until 11am after which it is first come, first served. There will be a live link to check availability on our website.  Before 11AM all parking spots require a reservation.

Parking is allowed on the date reserved starting at 7:30 AM and all vehicles must vacate the lots each day by 11:30PM. All gates on all lots will be closed and locked by midnight. There is no overnight parking and arrivals are not permitted before 7:30AM

We encourage you to keep checking back. Parking volume may change due to cancellations, seasonal fluctuations and snowfall. 

We understand this year isn't 100% business as usual, so additionally, if any guest feels like they would like a refund on their pass product for any reason we are happy to accommodate with a full refund before December 1, 2020. Learn more about the passholder promise

We will scan guests in from 7:30AM to 11:00 AM. To ensure you are not mistakenly noted as a no show, please arrive within this window on the date reserved.

After that time the parking is first come, first served. There will be a status of parking availability in real time on our website in early December.  If you aren’t feeling well or need to adjust plans for any reason, we understand. No early arrivals or overnight parking is allowed.

Yes, handicapped guests must also make a reservation and will be directed to the handicapped parking upon presentation of the reservation and confirmation of a valid Disabled Hangtag on the vehicle.

Parking spaces are sized for standard passenger vehicles and pickup trucks only, sorry we cannot accommodate oversized vehicles nor vehicles pulling trailers.

Our passes continue to offer the same great access to mountain adventure. The parking system requires you to please plan ahead to let us know you are coming, so that we can ensure everyone on property is able to stay safe and appropriately physically distance. We are focused on the wellbeing of all, and an important part of that is managing the number of people at the resort at any given time.

Our goal is to allow pass holders to ski and ride on the days they wish. The parking system is one tool amidst the many measures we are taking to manage volume and enable appropriate physical distancing.  Other actions include:

  • Adjusting our ticket and pass product offerings and sales channels 
  • Limiting the number of tickets we sell on any given day 
  • Adding lift queue spacing measures, including extended maze designs, more lateral spacing and increased signage
  • Shifting to more grab and go options in our dining venues
  • Refining our ski and ride school offerings

No. All guests are able to book parking reservations pre-arrival. Day tickets for select days will launch November 25th. We recommend checking for both parking and tickets before purchasing/reserving to ensure both have availability. 

If you are an overnight guest in the resort, who has booked accommodation through resort accommodations, there will be parking allocated through your lodging provider. For other private homes and lodging please check with your provider to see what overnight options are available. There are no overnight options available in the current SilverStar parking lots.

No, there will be two drop off areas available. In front of Lot C by the patrol hut, and in front of the Chilcoot lodge. Note that cars cannot be left unattended in drop off areas.

Yes, contact our guest services team and we can make a booking on your behalf. However, you will need an email and ability to print the reservation prior to arrival

We are doing all we can to protect the wellbeing of all and ensure passholders can ski and ride on the days they prefer, to include adjusting our ticket and pass product offerings and sales channels and limiting the number of tickets we sell on any given day.

We ask that our guests do what they can as well, including planning ahead this season to let us know when they are coming and reserve parking access if not staying in lodging at SilverStar.

We changed the way in which vehicles are parked for multiple reasons:

  1. Safety while parking: parking a vehicle nose to nose means you arent approaching guests (while driving) when they are unloading from the rear of their vehicles
  2. Your car is your lodge: many guests are using their vehicle as their "day lodge" and this allows more room to access the rear of the vehicle for this use
  3. Spreading out: staggering the parking of vehicles in each lot plus this new technique spreads people out in the parking lot
